Another update from last month – we reported on the success to date of Grampian Police’s campaign to recruit Police Constables. They had sent out 250 application packs and expected, on previous experience, to receive around 40 completed applications back. So far, however, over 100 applications have been received. The fact that interested parties were referred to their comprehensive careers site before applying seems to have had an impact on calibre – candidates are better informed and fewer unsuitable applications have been received.
